What version of PHP is required to run SecureTag?
SecureTag (beta) is tested on PHP v4. It is recommended you run that or a later version.

What about MySQL?
Again, SeureTag is tested on version 4. We therefore recommend v4 or later.

I only see the message "Unable to connect to the database. Please assure that you have correctly configured the settings in config.php." What should I do?
Open the config.php file with your preferred editor, and confirm that all of your database settings are correct. The applicaiton will not run without a connection to the database.

How do I use the wild-card banning system?
If you wish to ban a range of IPs (ie, any IP begining with 203.45.) simply replace the "missing characters" with an asterix (ie, 203.45.*).

The "logs" page is loading too slowly. What do I do?
You should try deleting some of your daily logs. The more data the application has to display the longer the page load-time will be.

I've found a problem. What do I do?
SecureTag is still a beta project so you may discover things that aren't quite right. If you discover such a problem, please report it to the Beta Administrator (beta@omegasoft.co.uk).
